Multimedia Design (FuJian Ship)
This is a multimedia design about a Chinese traditional culture. It was done under the supervision of my professor in the university. It was listed as the key project under the Beijing Undergraduate Innovation Scheme, and was funded by the city of Beijing. The whole design focused on creating an interactive experience for the users. Using multimedia to convey the somewhat tedious knowledge about Chinese traditional culture.
The subject is Chinese traditional ship-making technique. I used the three-dimensional model to simulate the different components and the making of a Chinese ship in the past. As the team leader, I have supervised every stage of this project. I see it as an art piece in the contemporary multimedia form.
